Programs such as Parallels Desktop, VMWare Fusion and VirtualBox allow you to create a virtual machine (VM), that runs on your Mac just like any other Mac app. Im my case I could solve the problem by activating “IO-APIC” in de Virtualbox-Configuration of the VM. ![]() I tried to migrate my VM from Parallels via VMWare to Virtualbox by using the method descriped in the tutorial and the same problem occurred as stated in posting no.1: The VM didn’t boot.
